Anti-PGHS-1, Monoclonal

OBR carries several monoclonal antibodies that were made against ovine Prostaglandin H Synthase 1 (PGHS-1), also known as Cyclooxygenase 1 (COX-1), and are specific for COX-1 without cross reactivity to Cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2). This antibody reacts with human, sheep, bovine, mouse and rat COX-1.

For Western blotting and Immunohistochemistry using alkaline phosphatase or horseradish peroxidase, a dilution of 1:1000 is recommended. With a more sensitive detection system, such as enhanced chemiluminescence or ELISA, the antibody may be diluted further.
